Neil Colbert joined the Southern Properties team in 2019 as a full-time REALTOR© and brings with him over 20 years of real estate sales experience. He began his real estate career with another Fort Payne company where he built a solid foundation of close relationships with his loyal client base. An Alabama native, Neil grew up in Gaylesville in Cherokee County and graduated from Gaylesville School. He attended Jacksonville State University and graduated from Northeast Alabama Community College. He and his wife Deb proudly call Fort Payne home. Dubbed the “Alabama Land Pro”, Neil has a vast knowledge and interest in regional land sales. His deep roots and connections within our community make Neil a natural choice among local residents.

Neil is an Associate Broker at Southern Properties. Through his hard work and success in real estate, Neil has earned the distinguished designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and is a proud member of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI).

Neil and Deb are proud grandparents to their two young granddaughters. An avid outdoorsman, Neil enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening. As much success as Neil has had in the real estate field, the accomplishment that makes him most proud is his family.
